Nadata Prosper – Passionate Educator & Advocate for Special Needs Children

My name is Nadata Prosper, and I am a passionate and devoted educator focused on obtaining an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education while creating inclusive and nurturing learning environments for young children. I currently hold this degree and am advancing my expertise by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Walden University. With 12 years of experience working with children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, as well as those in grades K through 5, I have cultivated a deep understanding of early education.

I am particularly passionate about supporting diverse learners and currently work in the Dekalb County School Department, specializing in assisting children with special needs. This role has enriched my understanding of individualized instruction, patience, and the significance of establishing a supportive environment where every child can thrive.

I believe in the effectiveness of play-based learning, differentiated instruction, and promoting social-emotional growth to help children achieve their fullest potential. My teaching philosophy emphasizes inclusivity, empathy, and empowering students to build confidence in their abilities.

Outside of the classroom, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring I remain informed of the best educational practices. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family, traveling to Guyana and Nigeria, cooking, and engaging in creative pursuits, always seeking new ways to enhance my knowledge and enrich my teaching experiences.
